Hullo - onsen are public hot springs - everyone in their birthday suits... I can't take pics right ;) Yes I went onsen :) And had personal car to fetch us to and fro :) On a separate occassion at Daisetsuzan National Park, I was totally submerged in the hot water while at the same time surrounded by snow and pine trees - that was truly a unique experience - to be in my birthday suit but yet be surrounded by snow and yet not freeze ;)
